Five days to work through every stage of the studio in detail, in the conditions of a professional session, from vocal preparation to recording and mixing a song.
With Julien Baudry, vocal coach at the Richard Cross school, and Ben Rando, a producer trained by the engineers behind Prince, Beyoncé and Adele.
Small-group work, with individual guidance on the song of your choice. You keep your recordings at the end of the course.

Recording
- Directed recording and corrections in real time
- Takes in the booth, with a pianist or to a backing track
- Learning to work with the engineer: vocabulary, workflow
- Day 4
Post-production
- Listening sessions in the control room
- Handling re-recording
- Editing, pitch, overdubs
- Day 5
Mixing
- The frequencies of the voice
- Levels, panning, compression
- Learning to make informed technical and artistic choices
Who will guide you
Trainers
Julien Baudry
Voice · Vocal teachingSinger, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and teacher. A vocal coach at the Richard Cross school, he teaches at IESM, CFMI and IMFP, and leads several choirs (COSMIC, CREMA…).
He has worked with André Manoukian, David Linx, China Moses, Les Grandes Gueules and Deluxe, among others.
Ben Rando
Studio · ProductionPianist trained at the Paris Conservatoire, composer, producer and founder of Studio Eole. He has worked on more than fifty albums as a performer, composer or sound engineer.
He trained with Chris Lord-Alge (Muse, Prince…), Leslie Brathwaite (Erykah Badu, Beyoncé…) and Shawn Everett (Miley Cyrus, Adele…).
Studio Eole
The studioStudio Eole is based in Rognes, near Aix-en-Provence and on the edge of the Lubéron. Five recording spaces, including a 40 m² main room and a 20 m² control room, 24 simultaneous channels and custom-designed acoustics. Discover the studio
