SuPerDog | In the court of the Crimson king

ReleaseD The 13th of  January 2017

SuPerDoG is a music group founded by Florent Briqué. This atypical quartet is conceived as a brass trio added to drums. Fred Gardette, Guillaume Nuss, Florent Briqué and Christophe Telbian offer an energic and resonant music of various inspirations.

The power of rock, the improvisation from jazz, the modern writing style along with a touch of electronical sound create a decidedly contemporary aesthetic.

The group’s first repertoire revisits “King Crimson's” music and spirit. After a 3 weeks tour in China, the band releases his debut album in january 2017.

Florent is the holder of a French State Diploma in teaching jazz and improvised music.

Guillaume Nuss | Trombone

Guillaume Nuss is a french hyperactive trombonist!

He discovered music by playing jazz in big bands in Alsace before studying music at the Conservatoire of Strasbourg and Metz. He found his music style by playing with Ozma (Free Groove): together, they won the band prize at the Defense Jazz Festival in Paris and Guillaume won the soloist prize too.

At the same time as feeling free jazz, he develops new electric sounds with trombone and sousaphone in La Fanfare en Pétard, an eclectic current band through he won an award during haizetara street musical insternational contest in Spain.

Now, he lives in Lyon. He continues to open himself to new different artistic creations, like Soul Music with The Buttshakers, or Ska with the Foolish Ska Jazz Orchestra, or Jazz with Franck Wolf Quintet.

Fred Gardette | saxophone baryton

He is fond of jazz and improvised music, and his training as well as his experience have allowed him to be part of many projects of various aesthetics.

Le Duomotocross, les Buttshakers, Bigre, les Jimmy, not forgetting Chut Oscar travelled the length and breadth of French streets, stages, schools and festivals for the greatest delight of curious listeners! He has a French State Diploma in teaching jazz, which is an advantage considering the educational sessions and the ability to adapt to any kind of audience. Fred is a member of Grolektif, a group of overactive musicians from Lyon.
